SALARY RANGE: $ 131,608 - $169,906 per year WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) Nokia of America Corporation, Senior Technical Support Engineer (Multiple Positions), Dallas, TX.Provide Tier 3 technical support for live network subscriber data management products trouble reports which require a deep understanding of Core Network Elements, 5G Architectures, and Cloud Deployments. Participate in 24/7 emergency on-call support, provide proactive maintenance service support and delivery, support change management service delivery, and organize and participate in pilot and roll-out upgrades and patch installations. Support software upgrades of the Subscriber Data Management (SDM) products for new releases and validate the upgrade path to be used at the customer site for SDM solutions. Provide technical support for customer networks, overall performance of the SDM products, and supporting customers for end-to-end support. Communicate and convince the customer of the solutions that have been provided for the faults addressed by them in the network, and will collaborate with R&D to negotiate solutions. Provide new technology support and service deployment, providing technical answers, sharing technical information and providing competence transfer, ensuring quality customer satisfaction survey targets are met, and consulting with customers regarding optimization, planning, feature activations, and other improvements. #LI-DNI JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's progressive related work experience. Or a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: Technical support for live network Subscriber Data Management (SDM) products; Troubleshoot problems from the field and customer lab; Core Network Elements, 5G architecture, and Cloud Deployments; Cloud environments, including Openstack and Kubernetes; IMS products, Diameter applicable standards, and LDAP Databases; Build release documentations; and Analyze root cases and perform tests. Domestic travel up to 10% required. International travel up to 5% required. Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Dallas, TX may be permitted.
