SALARY RANGE: $120,000 -136,934 per year

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)

Nokia of America Corporation, FN Americas RBC Customer Engineer (Multiple Positions), Dallas, TX. Perform software updates, establish and validate connectivity to network and element management system and migrate Access Networks for Nokia customers. Perform network element integration, including customizing documentation and performing software updates. Conduct customer specific tests necessary to ensure voice calls, data, and video traffic passes. Assist with Design, architect, upgrade, and migrate Access Networks (for Nokia customers), including XGS-PON (10 Gigabit Symmetrical Passive Optical Network). Assist in network system element integration and verification by planning, designing, and executing solutions for network issues. Engage in system development design involving interface specifications, design of Migration Methods of procedure (MoPs), failure Mode Analysis, detailed capacity guidelines, and performance analysis. Provide support for Network Deployment Detailed Design involving developing configuration templates for software, hardware configuration templates, IP (Internet Protocol) addressing, VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network), Capacity, and QoS (Quality of Service) plans. Accountable for quality and accuracy of own output. Responsible for contribution to teamwork. Carries out tasks/activities according to assignment and set guidelines. Demonstrates initiative and adaptability to changing business environments. #LI-DNI

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience with the following: Access technologies, including GPON, XGS-PON, and 25G; Layer 2 and Layer 3 IP Protocols; Network engineering, network design, and network integration; VLAN, Capacity, and QoS plans; Software Defined Access Networks (SDAN), Cloud computing and deployment; Zero Touch Provisioning, and using Python and Javascript (Rhino) functions; and, G.FAST copper technology.

Domestic travel up to 50% required.

Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Dallas, TX may be permitted up to 60%.
