What you will be doing: Provides strategic and analytical support and decision making for assigned supply management discipline or project. Oversees and manages specials and custom materials, projects or functional process. Accountable to ensure that applicable business results are met on behalf of all applicable stakeholders. Sponsors, manages and leads implementation of numerous projects relative to achieving business results expected of supply management assignment. Develops, updates, and implements short- and long-range strategic plans that identify cost benefit and major risk mitigation opportunities. Tracks internal and external information/data relative to assigned procurement responsibility. Identifies opportunities for supply related cost control and performance improvement. Required Skills and Competencies: Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Engineering or Supply Chain required. 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Preferred Skills and Competencies: Able to facilitate and lead teams. Able to work under pressure and meet deliverables. Able to prioritize and apply sound judgement. May require negotiation skills. May require the ability to manage supplier relationships and contracts. Strong organization, communication, and management skills. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and continuous improvement skills. Able to operate independently in a highly collaborative, cross-functional matrix-based organization.
