About the Role:
The Senior Vice President will be responsible for supporting the overall strategic direction, growth, and operational excellence of the firm. The role requires a leader with a deep understanding of forensic accounting and the insurance industry, along with a track record of success working in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of the firm's long-term strategic plan, including market positioning, service offerings, and business development initiatives
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, expand client relationships, and build strategic partnerships
- Participate in business development efforts, including the preparation and delivery of educational and training presentations
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture in order to recruit, develop, and retain top talent
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and exceeding expectations
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging forensic accounting techniques
- Manage staff members in creating forensic accounting analyses dictated by the needs of the client
- Assist in the development and evaluation of damages claims and other financial calculations
- Organize and analyze large data sets to provide meaningful conclusions
- Prepare written reports and presentations for clients
- Oversee the quantification of insurance claims and litigation support matters on behalf of insurers, loss adjusters, attorneys, etc.
- Independently gather data pertinent to engagements through direct client interaction, client site visits, and independent research
- Support the development and training efforts of staff and middle management to encourage their growth and the growth of the firm
- Contribute directly to the development of work product, expert reports, proposals, presentations, and publications communicated to current and prospective clients
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Certification(s) to demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in key related skills such as ABV, CPA, CFE, or similar
- Minimum of 10 years of forensic accounting, litigation support, business valuation or related experience
- A record of progressively increasing knowledge, skill, responsibility, and independence
- Must have demonstrated computer skills and experience with accounting software, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated experience providing written deliverables
- Proven experience managing and mentoring a team
- Possess strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence to handle confrontation, pressure, and deadlines.
- A valid passport and the ability to travel both domestically and internationally as required for both client engagements and business development efforts
- Fluency in English is required. Additional languages are beneficial but not required
