Quality Director

STS Technical Services is expanding, and we're looking for an experienced Quality Director to oversee and enhance our Quality Management System (QMS) across multiple facilities. This is a key leadership role, responsible for developing, implementing, and refining quality control policies, procedures, and standards to ensure that our products meet the highest industry expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy



  • Lead and mentor an industry-leading quality control team across multiple locations.
  • Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Quality Management & Compliance



  • Develop, implement, and improve quality control policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Oversee quality assurance processes, including inspections, testing, and both internal and external audits.

Data-Driven Decision Making



  • Analyze quality control data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Utilize root cause analysis to drive preventative and corrective actions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration



  • Partner with engineering, production, and operations teams to integrate quality control measures across all processes.
  • Adapt to challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while ensuring production goals align with quality requirements.
  • Work closely with customers, ensuring auditing, compliance, and reporting meet their expectations.

Training & Continuous Improvement



  • Develop and deliver training programs for employees on best-in-class quality control practices.
  • Lead Kaizen events and other process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide clear and concise reporting to senior management and stakeholders on quality metrics, findings, and recommendations.

Hands-On Problem Solving



  • Roll up your sleeves when needed-assist the quality team and operations on the production floor.
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality issues efficiently.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to define issues, collect data, and implement solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of quality management systems and industry regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, ASQ).
  • Proven expertise in root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage multi-site quality operations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to drive quality improvements across departments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a related role in manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Quality Management or a related field.
  • Certification in Six Sigma, ISO 9001, or ASQ Quality Control.
  • Experience working in a similar manufacturing industry.
