We have an exciting opportunity for aSmall Projects and Deficiency Sales Representative- Fire Alarm & Special Hazards located in Madison, WI . How you will contribute: This role requires a highly proactive and self-motivated individual who enjoys selling and managing fire alarm and special hazards small projects as well as deficiency sales. You will serve to quickly turn job-site deficiency reports into sales opportunities for Ahern Fire Protection by partnering with Inspectors and the related inspection/ deficiency reports. The ideal candidate will have the proven ability to quickly build relationships via the telephone and email and turn an opportunity into a service sale. You will work closely with our Inspectors, Superintendents, and Sales Teams to clarify details of individual deficiencies and proactively communicate with the necessary vendors, individuals and customers to complete timely proposals. You will bring impeccable follow-up skills to maintain regular contact and follow-up with the customer after submission of the proposal, and manage the relationship through the follow-up process. What you need to qualify: A minimum of three years' previous fire life safety systems experience, combined with a post high-school degree or equivalent experience will be crucial to the position.Being proficient in Microsoft Office and technically inclined to learn industry-specific software will be essential. You should be passionate about elevating the customer experience. You can stand out above other candidates by demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.
