Job Summary

As the General Manager at Analog Devices, a premier high-volume center for excellence, you will manage the food service operations for over 2,000 guests at the company's global headquarters. The team oversees a diverse array of services, including the Cafe, Catering, Coffee Bar, Micro Market, Robust Grab and Go, Free Coffee Program, and Pantry Programs. Your role will involve maintaining the food service account in alignment with the approved budget, exceeding client expectations, and fostering strong relationships with employees, guests, clients, and other departments. Additionally, you will guide the professional growth of your team and integrate dining services with the overall facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate in employee meetings, performance reviews, and training initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Oversee the management of food costs, ensuring high-quality standards across all services.
  • Foster strong relationships with staff, clients, guests, and other departments.
  • Manage financial reporting, including sales reports, P&L reports, annual budgets, and cash handling.
  • Analyze financial trends and data to support informed decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Manage purchasing, inventory control, and food cost strategies.
  • Collaborate with chefs to plan and design menus for various programs and events.
  • Maintain expertise in HACCP standards, ensuring proper food storage and usage.
  • Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations for food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and optimize multiple food service offerings, including Cafe, Catering, Coffee Bar, Micro Market, Grab and Go, and Pantry Programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 8-10 years of experience in upscale food service, with at least 6 years in a management role.
  • Proven experience in personnel management, including hiring, supervision, performance evaluations, and succession planning.
  • Strong track record in meeting company goals while adhering to company/client policies and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Experience in supervisory duties, including scheduling, training, and coaching.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in food purchasing, inventory control, and cost management.
  • Experience in creating and adhering to budgets, financial forecasting, and reporting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HACCP controls, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong client relations and business etiquette skills.
  • Excellent time management abilities, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Extensive catering experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • ServSafe or Department of Health certification is a plus.
