Engineering Internship Do you want to apply your classroom knowledge to hands on building and testing of your designs? Do you like the idea of taking your designs all the way through testing and fielding? Come join the team at IS4S and help us create military systems that will aid the warfighter in getting their job done. Job Description: IS4S is looking for industrial engineering students for a Summer 2025 internship who's not only interested in applying their classroom skills but who's also interested in hands-on building, testing, and fielding of their designs. IS4S works closely with Air Force, Army, and Navy engineers and scientists to build advanced military systems. IS4S is looking for candidates who are self-starters, teachable, and able to learn new things as they work together with engineers and program managers to solve challenging technical problems. Duties will include creating technical drawings, diagrams, schematics, and digital models of their designs. Additionally, candidates will be required to communicate with all engineering skill levels to help create sound designs that can quickly go into prototype and eventual production. Furthermore, the summer internship will be required to work with test engineers and support field testing as required. Required Experience: 2+ years of Engineering course work at an ABET accredited University Ability to work closely with a small, rapid paced development team Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance Undergraduate Juniors Desired Experience: Experience with Solidworks CAD and/or circuit design tools Experience in prototyping and manufacturing Experience with programming languages like Python and C Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using SysML About IS4S: Integrated Solutions for Systems, Inc.
