The Technical Field Services Representative will provide a full range of field technical support to our Thermal and Acoustic Sales team within the assigned Western region resulting in a better customer understanding and use of our products, reduce liability, build closer customer relations, and a reinforcing of the "expert" image in the market.

This role will work closely with the Sales team and Regional Sales Manager in identifying opportunities for business and customer growth through improved field use of CBI portfolio of products and systems and will leverage the field technical role for sales opportunity identification.

This position will coordinate with the regional manager and local sales teams to implement growth strategies and will work with Warranty Services, Marketing and R&D on various development projects, national training programs and assist in managing our warranty program.

Field Training & Application




  • Deliver product application training
  • Support and help implement contractor programs
  • Support distribution field sales and contractors on application issues
  • Support distribution and contractors on job estimates and product quantities needed
  • Conduct research with customers, dealers, and applicators to determine needs and desires

Is this job for you ?

  • At least 2-4 Years of experience in Applications
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
  • Relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: field trials during product development, introduction of new products, troubleshooting field problems, and technical support activities.
  • Strong ability to communicate technical information effectively to contractors, sales teams, and customers
  • Well organized with concern for details, accuracy and capable to following instructions, meet schedules/timelines and handle multiple priorities. Proven ability to work independently.
  • Ability to travel up to 85%. Day & Overnight Travel in the U.S. Company vehicle is provided.

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees' wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position, which is $70,000 to $108,000 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 9% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $76,300 to $117,700. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
