The Commercial Director of Payables Partnerships, Americas is responsible for leading commercial strategy, market expansion, through-partner growth and team goal delivery for our Payables Partnerships organization in Corporate Payments. This organization consists of partner and customer relationship and growth teams, each with a specified financial achievement accountability for retention and significant revenue growth. This role will work closely with Corporate Payments executive leadership to develop strategy and lead the Americas organization on revenue plans, portfolios, and strategic initiatives to meet the organization's revenue objectives. Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver business planning, process and team execution to deliver on defined business outcomes in alignment with strategic plan Facilitate through-partner sales and organic growth forecasting process and manage business rhythm to increase visibility to organization Lead and manage the Americas Payables Partnership organization's market and business development activities for customers and partners. Deliver against annual revenue growth plan in support of organization strategy and objectives. Maintain current activity and accurate forecast information. Partner closely with supplier engagement organization to maintain and grow strategic partnerships critical to retaining and growing payment acceptance Propose, implement and execute impactful partnership management policies and practices. Recommend strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis. Engage with broader commercial, marketing and product delivery teams to define and deliver growth campaign initiatives Attend applicable trade shows and present at internal and external sessions Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales and marketing. Advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 8-10+ years finance related business development and/or sales management, account and channel management experience Minimum 3 years in senior leadership position, preferably in financial industry Comprehensive understanding of financial services and through-partner sales processes Ability to participate in strategy development and lead attainment of critical objectives Experience building and proposing a comprehensive strategy to attain ownership area's P&L objectives Proven track record of managing business development activities to achieve against retention and growth targets Successful track record of building and maintaining strong relationships ranging from senior level executives to technical contacts Strong cross-team and cross-organizational collaboration and execution skills Demonstration of key leadership behaviors necessary for building trust, accountability and collaboration among internal and external stakeholders and team members. Skilled at presenting ideas effectively at the board level, to individuals or groups, and positioning to meet the objectives of the event or meeting
The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
