We are on the lookout for a dynamic Accounting Manager to lead our talented accounting staff and oversee all aspects of general ledger accounting in accordance with GAAP. This is your chance to shine as you interact with Newport's auditors during the annual audit process and play a pivotal role in driving efficiencies in our monthly GL close process.

Your expertise will help shape our accounting practices and ensure we maintain the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and Inspire: Manage and develop a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

• Streamline Processes: Take charge of the monthly GL close process and procedures, finding innovative ways to accelerate and optimize our workflows.

• Policy Development: Create and maintain robust Accounting Policies that guide our practices and ensure compliance.

• Audit Leadership: Be the go-to leader during interim and annual audit activities, working directly with auditors to ensure a smooth process.

• Financial Reporting: Oversee the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements that reflect our company's success.

• Tax Management: Manage taxes and licenses, collaborating with outside tax advisors for annual filings.

• Collaborative Spirit: Work closely with Finance teammates to ensure accuracy in lender addbacks and assist in preparing lender certificates and covenant calculations.

• Efficiency Champion: Leverage Concur to enhance AP processing efficiency and accuracy in invoice coding.

• Capital Expense Requests: Collaborate with the Finance team on capital expense requests to support our growth.

• M&A Support: Engage in due diligence and integration planning for M&A transactions, ensuring seamless transitions.

• Continuous Improvement: Enhance our intercompany accounting processes and improve procedures to deliver audit-ready financials each month.

• Diverse Duties: Embrace a variety of responsibilities as assigned, contributing to our dynamic team environment.
