We are hiring an Accounts Receivable Manager to supervise the accounts receivable team. This person needs a strong background in accounts receivable, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage a team while ensuring timely and accurate invoicing. This role will involve working closely with other departments, managing relationships with customers, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable department, ensuring the accurate and timely invoicing of customers.
  • Manage collections by implementing and overseeing collection strategies, ensuring prompt payment of outstanding invoices.
  • Monitor accounts receivable by analyzing trends, reviewing aged reports, and following up with customers.
  • Investigate and resolve customer inquiries and disputes related to invoices.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies related to accounts receivable.
  • Manage and train a team of accounts receivable staff.
  • Work to streamline the billing, payment, and collection process to improve cash flow.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable.
  • Assist with the annual financial audit and provide supporting documentation related to accounts receivable.
  • Report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation immediately to supervisor or department head.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
  • Five (5) years of experience in accounts receivable
  • A minimum of least two (2) years of experience managing or supervising
