Position Details:

The Child Mind Institute is seeking a Treasurer to act as a key member of the Finance team, responsible for performing treasury function across three legal entities. Working under the direction of the Director of Finance and Accounting, the Treasurer is responsible for managing organizational short-term investment strategy, preparation of cash flow forecasting, management of cash functionality between Sage Intacct and banks, monthly bank reconciliations and assist with annual financial audit.

You Will:

  • Manage an organizational short-term investment strategy including daily cash balances and short-term borrowing
  • Prepare cash flow forecasting and provide monthly detailed cash flow projections
  • Manage banking and cash functionality within Sage Intacct including, but not limited to, daily bank transactions, integrations and monthly reconciliations
  • Help Director of Finance and Accounting with compliance regarding internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Help prepare schedules and analysis for the annual financial audit
  • Other tasks as assigned

You Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar discipline
  • 7 years accounting experience with at least 4 of those years in nonprofit sector
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experience communicating and explaining complex financial information
  • Experience manipulating, organizing and presenting large amounts of data
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. Advanced skills in Excel required
  • Experience with non-profit enterprise software, such as SAGE Intacct, Expensify, Workday, Financial Edge, or similar required

Pay Range

The salary range for the position is posted. Factors such as candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this range. In addition, this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
