We are looking for a strong leader that will share in our passion for this mission and lead a team within the Document Curing Department with humility and excellence.

The Document Curing Department is responsible for the accuracy and maintenance of mortgage loan documents. The HMDA/GNMA team is responsible for reviewing and providing applicable data to fulfill investor and/or regulatory requirements.

A successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily work the HMDA/GNMA team within the Document Curing Department.

Primary responsibilities include:



  • Understanding applicable investor, insurer, and state level requirements to build controls and mitigate risk.
  • Monitoring and reporting operational inventory and performance metrics to ensure team success
  • Establishing clear expectations for employee performance
  • Reviewing the team's productivity and quality metrics to provide coaching, mentoring, and development to improve employee success
  • Managing team members work flow
  • Researching and resolving escalated issues timey to prevent process delays
  • Monitoring vendor and third party relationships to meet service level requirements
  • Managing various projects and performing other relevant duties as required



Minimum Requirements

This position requires a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years' management experience, OR in lieu of a degree, commensurate work history of 5-7 years of experience in an operational, financial services, mortgage servicing or corporate environment will be considered. Work history must include demonstrated success managing/leading a team, to include performance, productivity, engagement and a process improvement background.

  • Aptitude to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and a capacity to work in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as they will be expected to confidently lead meetings and convey information at all levels of the organization and outside the organization as well.
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to exercise discretion and judgement
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
