Investment Associate II
Assists in the investment oversight of high net-worth portfolios including the handling of the most complex relationships. Administers smaller accounts and assists Investment Specialist with larger and complex accounts (i.e., asset allocation, PIP, investment coding and client meetings).
Position Responsibilities
Preparing and tracking the assignment/completion of Annual Reg 9 reviews
- Prepare Annual Reg 9 Reviews for the assigned IS's annual review.
- Track assignment of the review to the proper IS, and subsequent follow-up when the review is entered onto Envestnet by the IS.
- Support department Metrics, sensitive to the continually changing unit requirement for the Annual Regulation 9 investment reviews to be completed in full by the end of the year.
Account Administration / Support
- Ensure supporting documentation for exceptions (closing, recon issues and supporting notes/docs in review, concentration plans, Fixed income in SMA, etc); are loaded to Envestnet Vault.
- Monitor CAS Inbox for emails related to assigned IS accounts and notify accordingly.
- Participate in UTHVAL/CHB/ Specialty Asset review calls and apply notes in PIP.
- Training related to Account Coding process (including Account setup, Investment Proposals, Risk/Investment Objectives, Partner/RIA, Investment Programs).
- JIRA submission and tracking via Master spreadsheet.
Customer Service (Internal/External)
- Research and resolve complex and sensitive questions and problems.
- Maintain the ability to work at an effective level with your team and all Advisor Solutions disciplines, including outside Partners and Financial Advisors.
- Gather appropriate data needed in order for the account to be accurately reviewed (i.e., PIP, QND, performance, transaction detail).
Risk Management
- Understand and apply Comerica policies and guidelines, governmental regulations, and prudent investor standards to their daily activities.
- Attend annual portfolio investment reviews.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 1 year Investment Management industry experience OR 6 years Investment Management industry experience
- 6 years customer service experience
- 6 years Microsoft Office experience, including Excel
Work Best Category: Category B - 3-4 days in office on designated days/1-2 days remote
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
