Summary of Position

NRECA's Marketing team shapes the go-to-market strategies, value propositions, positioning, and promotions for a large and dynamic portfolio of products and services for external and member audiences. We work to tell the modern electric cooperative story, positively influence the perception of cooperatives with inside-the-beltway policy makers and elevate the organization's brand. This is a hybrid position located in Arlington, VA.

We are looking for a highly organized, driven, and systematic Marketing Campaign and Traffic Manager to coordinate and collaborate on 50+ cross-departmental marketing projects annually. These campaigns are designed to achieve revenue, engagement, satisfaction, and utilization goals in service to our members. Key Responsibilities

  • Leverages data and market intelligence to expertly understand the audience and their buying habits to orchestrate the best times, places, platforms, and media for optimal campaign impact.
  • Collaborates with matrixed stakeholders and peers to organize, plan, track, and measure multiple targeted marketing campaigns to achieve business goals.
  • Supports Product Marketers and others to organize, schedule, and execute flawless and impactful Go-To-Market plans.
  • Analyzes and allocates resources and overlapping timelines to ensure multiple messages and campaigns complement the overarching strategies; prevents market confusion, competing messages, and noise.
  • Oversees sourcing, routing, and production of final output campaign materials and collateral - working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and contractors.
  • Analyzes, adapts, and executes decisively and precisely.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field.
  • 7+years marketing or advertising experience managing integrated marketing and media campaigns, production, or account management in a large organization.
  • Ability to prioritize, work quickly, and manage multiple projects, timelines and deadlines as well as be adaptable and agile in a dynamic work environment.
  • Experience creating, tracking, and reporting on project status using GANTT charts and project planning tools like MS Planner, Jira, Asana or similar.
  • Experience working with various systems and platforms impacting the marketing function, including website content management, email marketing, basic graphic design, marketing analytics and segmentation.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to lead and influence without direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project and campaign management in a matrixed environment.

Essential Physical Requirements:

  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading.
  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
