V2X is growing! V2X is looking for an Asset Management Coordinator to join our team!

Position Scope and Charter:

We are seeking candidates for the position of Asset Management Coordinator at our Indianapolis facility. This role will involve managing vendor-calibrated equipment, overseeing tool control, generating on-time and past-due trends, and initiating non-conformance investigations with the support of Mission Assurance.

Essential Tasks:
The following tasks are essential to the role but are not all-inclusive. Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on operational needs and logical task associations.

Equipment & Tool Control Management:



  • Assist in the daily operations and management of equipment control processes and tool control systems.
  • Oversee the tracking, storage, and inventory of calibrated tools and equipment across the facility.
  • Ensure proper tracking and control of tools and equipment to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Manage asset control inventory systems to ensure that assets are properly stored and tracked according to industry standards.


Vendor Coordination:



  • Coordinate with vendors to schedule repairs and calibrations for equipment, ensuring timely handling of all assets.
  • Schedule vendor services for equipment repairs and other necessary updates.
  • Monitor and track the status of assets using an asset management system to ensure timely and effective scheduling.
  • Generate and analyze trending data for on-time and past-due asset management tasks.


Asset Management:



  • Maintain the asset management system, ensuring accurate tracking and status of equipment and tools.
  • Ensure that all equipment is entered into the system promptly and that maintenance schedules are followed when equipment is activated.
  • Work with internal and external teams to ensure that asset tracking procedures are followed in accordance with company policies and standards.


Non-Conformance & Investigations:



  • Identify and initiate investigations when equipment is returned out of tolerance or fails required standards.
  • Support the Mission Assurance team in investigating and resolving non-conformances related to equipment and tool management.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors regarding asset status, issues, and corrective actions.


Audit Preparation & Support:



  • Assist in preparing for and supporting both internal and external audit activities related to asset management and equipment control processes.


Required Skills:



  • 10+ years of relevant experience in equipment control, tool control, or similar roles.
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to adapt and learn new responsibilities in manufacturing and depot operations.
  • Strong communication skills to interface confidently with internal and external customers, peers, and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and utilize new software and tools.


Desired Skills:



  • Knowledge of equipment management, tool control systems, and industry best practices.
  • Experience with managing calibrated asset inventories and ensuring tool accountability and compliance.
  • Working knowledge of SAP for asset management and tracking.
  • Experience with Gagepack or similar equipment management software.


Required Education:



  • High School Diploma/GED
