LOCATION: Florida (Miami Lakes, Ft. Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Orlando, or Tampa)
SUMMARY:
The primary goal of the Public Funds Associate Treasury & Liquidity (T&L) Relationship Manager (RM) position is to support the sales and service objectives of the Government Banking team by leveraging our resources to respond to Requests for Proposals ("RFPs"), Requests for Information ("RFIs"), Due Diligence Questionnaires ("DDQs"), and ad-hoc queries for clients/prospects. The Public Funds Associate Treasury & Liquidity (T&L) Relationship Manager (RM) will work with Sales, Product Development, Corporate Treasury, Implementation, Service, and Operations developing a fulsome understanding of our capabilities, staying current on enhancements, changes, and new solutions and ensuring proposal content reflects such. This role is integral to the banks business development efforts. Further, to serve in a development role to transition to that of a Treasury & Liquidity Relationship Manager in the future.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
- Responsible for supporting Government Banking with interaction with Client Support Team (CST) to ensure client needs are met with Client on-boarding, implementation, and ongoing support.
- Ensure that task is completed in a timely manner with CST team, Treasury Management (TM) team, operations, loan servicing, etc. to better serve client needs in a timely manner including ensuring KYC is set appropriately as well as TM products requested are in place and limits are appropriate for TM products.
- Preform CRM/COA/TM functions when necessary.
- Manage the coordination and timely completion of RFPs, RFIs and DDQs -- including compiling existing language, creating new language as needed, and reviewing documents to ensure high quality, error-free final responses.
- Act as liaison between Government Banking and Operations Team including CST and TM team to facilitate communication regarding Client needs, including follow up to ensure completed.
- Assist in identifying opportunities with clients and prospects to further cross selling of bank products and services to the existing client base.
- Prepare sales presentations for Public Funds T&L RM manager.
- Receive and respond to email correspondence and/or phone calls from existing clients and manages solutions with CST, TM team, operations, loan servicing, etc. to resolve issues or needs including new accounts, maintenance, treasury management services or changes, and fee structure inquiries/complaints.
- Must be process and detail-oriented, placing a high priority on accuracy with particular focus on qualitative and quantitative accuracy.
- Prepare and/or assist with various projects for the Specialty Banking group to improve our operations.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic who can stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple concurrent deadlines
- Assist and possibly preforms BSA inquiries when not applicable for CST to manage. Ensures CST team is adhering to time for BSA inquiries and ensures that KYC is appropriately set for clients.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations and excel spreadsheets as needed in support of Government Banking Team.
- May compose a variety of client letters using appropriate and professional business language.
- Research, compile, store, and retrieve data for presentation of reports including statistical reports.
- Coordinate and arrange meetings, prepare agendas, may prepare records and transcribe notes of meetings.
- Assist with various projects and Manage the banks library data base of RFP contracts.
- Assist with overall management of the banks Public Funds client base needs.
- Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
- Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
- Identifies and reports suspicious activity.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Or Associate's Degree or equivalent and 2 years related sales banking experience
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2+ years' marketing, proposal writing including content development and maintenance preferred
- Financial Institution proposal writing strongly preferred
- A minimum of five years' experience in banking related client care services

- Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with subject matter experts across multiple departments, with the ability to articulate clear responses

- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to work directly with senior team members under tight deadlines.
