Position Summary The Corporate Communications team is focused on both traditional and new ways to reach audiences internally and externally and shape the reputation of the Zoetis corporate brand by driving global awareness, influence, preference, and trust. The Corporate Affairs team contributes to a shared mission to advance and protect the Zoetis brand by understanding, influencing, and engaging all stakeholders - from colleagues and customers to our communities. The Director, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Global Commercial Development (GCD) Communications will lead key executive Communications on behalf the Zoetis' CMO and serve as a strategic business partner to the GCD team to support data and regulatory milestones related to commercialized products across the portfolio. This leader will serve as a trusted communications advisor tying together strategic communications that reinforce the innovation and efficacy of our portfolio for external and internal audiences including driving a core narrative, messaging, press materials and thought leadership platforms through speaking opportunities and other internal and external stakeholder content and programming. The Director of CMO and GCD Communications will be able to work seamlessly cross functionally, led by influence via influence, demonstrate and understanding of appropriate content for trade media and the ability to balance multiple priorities. Responsibilities: Develop and execute end-to-end executive communications plan for CMO for external and internal audiences, pull-through CMO voice as needed for customer communication, prepare for internal and external speaking engagements e.g., industry association meetings, Letter to the Editor, etc. Foster ongoing engagement across Zoetis medical team and identify opportunities to amplify initiatives and programs aligned to strategic priorities. Strategic communications for GCD. Collaborate with GCD to develop comprehensive plans to support product milestones through public relations. Develop audience-based plans to amplify regulatory and data milestones with an enterprise viewpoint including press releases, Q&A, key messages and social content as appropriate, Contribute to GCD product campaigns to develop engaging materials and toolkits for local market use to advance or strategic priorities.
