Job Accountabilities

• Leadership: This person will be responsible for building, leading, and developing a high-performing team of data analysts, data scientists, and data consultants.
• Insight Generation: Facilitate development of robust business intelligence tools and strategies to optimize usage and deployment of the resource arriving at actionable recommendations that drive business value in terms of increased revenues and/or reduced costs. This person will be charged with enabling analytics to more effectively find insights that lead to quicker action that drives better financial performance.
• Performance Measurement and Improvement: Partner to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of annual planning efforts, strategic initiatives, marketing programs, and new product/feature launches. Create 1-on-1 marketing optimization applications to deliver the right offer to the right customers at the right time. Role will be responsible for creating a higher Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI) and improved deepening, acquisition, and retention of customers.
• Business Partner Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, pricing, marketing, sales, finance, and digital to identify opportunities for leveraging data insights to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and improvement within the data and analytics team. Encourage the adoption of best practices, new methodologies, enhanced modeling techniques, and emerging trends in the field.
• Communication and Presentation: Present insights, findings, and recommendations to senior executives and c-suite stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner. Be able to effectively communicate complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Model Development: Responsible for predictive modeling strategy, development, compliance, and implementation for Marketing, Product, Pricing, Distribution, etc. Develop machine learning computational environment and framework for speed-of-business development.
• Reporting and Visualization: Develop and maintain automated reporting frameworks and data visualization tools to present key insights and trends in a clear and concise manner. Enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions through intuitive and actionable dashboards.
• Data Management: Partner with data management/architecture team to create the right environment and platforms to improve accuracy, efficiency, and financial impact of taking information from data to insights to action.

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree Data Science, Statistics or Computer Science
• 10+ years Data Analytics / Data Science, leading teams, to include hiring, developing, and coaching various levels of colleagues and advanced analytic tools (Python, R, SAS, SQL) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
  

Preferred:

• Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Data Science, Statistics or Computer Science
• 5+ years Statistical models and machine learning techniques,
• 2+ years Financial Services / Banking and marketing analytics
