Job DescriptionPrimary Location: Remote, UtahThe Delivery Supervisor leads a team of delivery personnel and maintains delivery standards as established by management team by performing the following duties: Work with delivery personnel to increase performance standards: SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. - No missed stops. - Manages vacation schedule to ensure adequate route coverage. Assists with vacation coverage for all routes. - Completes work-withs/route rides with subordinates to ensure efficiency and compliance with policies. - Participate in weekly department meetings to ensure delivery 'team' concept. - Attends all scheduled meetings. - Assists Sales Team with sales calls and performs cold sales calls. - Responsible for additional restaurant supply management. - Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time. QUALIFICATIONS Some states require employees to be 18 years of age or older when promoting, merchandising, and delivering alcoholic beverages. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS COMMUNICATION SKILLS MATHEMATICAL SKILLS COMPETENCIES PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
