Primary Location:

The Delivery Supervisor leads a team of delivery personnel and maintains delivery standards as established by management team by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works with and trains all delivery personnel through work-withs to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and retail.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include interviewing and hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- No missed stops.
- Product moving procedures followed.
- All Quality Assurance standards followed.
- Product moving procedures followed.
- Cooler, back-stock, and shelves stocked on every delivery.
- Conduct rotation audits on drivers while covering/training delivery routes.
- Assists with store resets for all route assignments.

- Manages vacation schedule to ensure adequate route coverage. Assists with vacation coverage for all routes.

- Completes work-withs/route rides with subordinates to ensure efficiency and compliance with policies.

- Participate in weekly department meetings to ensure delivery 'team' concept.

- Attends all scheduled meetings.

- Assists Sales Team with sales calls and performs cold sales calls.

- Responsible for additional restaurant supply management.

- Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must meet company driver qualifications. Maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and a physical DOT medical card is required.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to perform basic math and business math functions.
REASONAING SKILLS
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
