Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: - Maintain regular contact with current and potential customers. - Review plans and specifications prior to bidding, calculate and quote material prices to customers, complete project submittals and maintain project files. - Track and document market data relating to product and price. - Perform on-going market analysis. - Entertain customers and resolve customer complaints, questions, and assist in collections. - Develop haul routes and evaluate job site access. - Trouble shoot production and quality deficiencies. - Develop a good working relationship with fellow team members, driver teams, and central dispatch team. - This position will require active involvement in trade and community associations. - Be actively involved in production & quality teams. - Assure all safety policies and procedures. Salary Range- $75,000- $95,000 Minimum Qualifications: - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience. - Ability to obtain Quality Control Technician (QCT) and Concrete Control Technician (CCT) certification. - Must have the ability to establish rapport with a wide variety of personality types and accept rejection. - Ability to work safely in a busy construction environment. - Willingness to work odd hours and Saturday's if necessary . - Must work as a member of a location team. - A neat, professional appearance and a good driving record are required. - Prefer someone with knowledge of local market area. - Ability to speak effectively before contractors or employees of organization . - Must be a self starter and be able to organize and manage time effectively and handle difficult situations . - Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen.
