About the Role:

Yardi is currently seeking a Security Analyst II to join our
Cloud Services Team. In this role, you will monitor, detect, and respond to
security alerts across information, endpoint, and network platforms. You will
work closely with Senior Analysts to investigate incidents, perform root cause
analysis, and ensure timely responses to security threats. Additionally, you
will identify patterns for proactive threat hunting, contribute to automation
efforts, and collaborate with teams to enhance security policies and implement
preventative measures.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor security events and logs to spot potential threats
  and investigate issues.
• Respond to active security alerts, ensuring threats are
  quickly identified and minimized.
• Support level I analysts with escalations and lead incident
  response activities.
• Investigate incidents to find the root cause and help
  prevent future issues.
• Proactively search for hidden threats that might evade
  automated systems.
• Maintain and improve security automations and suggest policy
  updates.
• Work with other teams to resolve security incidents and
  apply corrective actions.
• Document security events and responses for review and
  further action.
• Participate in on-call rotations as part of a 24/7/365 team.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information
  Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience working with security
  solutions and technologies, as well as in a Security Operations Center.
• Proficient in managing security technologies such as EDR,
  NDR, IPS, WAF, and SIEM.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP),
  security methodologies (ACL/NAC), and network topologies.
• Hands-on experience with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating
  systems.
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell,
  Bash, or Python.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to think
  critically.
• Deep knowledge of security incident response processes and
  root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within
  teams.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to juggle
  multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Ideal to have:

• Experience with Endpoint Protection Platforms, Network
  Intrusion Protection Systems, and Web Application Firewalls.
• Professional Security Certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.).
• Experience with SIEM and security automation tools.
• Familiarity with proactive threat hunting techniques.
• Knowledge of containerization concepts (e.g., Kubernetes,
  Docker).
• Experience in responding to and remediating network
  intrusions, web application, and server attacks.
• Understanding of advanced tactics, techniques, and
  procedures (TTPs).
• SQL proficiency and understanding of its security
  applications.

Compensation: $84,800 - $95,400
