Relationship Manager IV -- FSD
The Relationship Manager role will be responsible for new business development, onboarding, portfolio management and underwriting to support the needs of the group. This role will support Third-Party Payment Processors, Money Service Businesses (MSBs), Financial Institutions and Non-Bank Financial Institutions, including Payroll Providers, Broker Dealers, Title/Escrow companies, and Fintech organizations.
Position Responsibilities:
Sales Production:
- Increase the Bank's profitability by cultivating new business relationships.
- Maintain and develop customer relationships, new business, and periodic risk reviews of the portfolio.
- Negotiate proper structure of non-credit products.
- Create and own assigned product's market message; participate in development of marketing and advertising programs.
- Develop training material.
- Conduct training classes as necessary.
- Conduct customer, non-customer and prospective customer interviews.
- Monitor trends and determine customer acceptance of assigned product(s).
Risk Management:
- Assess and monitor client risk exposure including operational, compliance and payment solution risk.
- Conduct regular review of customer activity to detect, prevent and address potential risks including fraud and transaction anomalies
- Evaluate and advise on payment flow structures, API integrations, and settlement processes to optimize operational efficiency and minimize risk
- Maintain knowledge of payment systems, corporate banking, credit and non-credit products, trust, real estate, treasury management and other bank functions.
- Maintain knowledge of accounting and financial principles, marketing and sales principles, credit analysis, economics and other bank functions.
Additional Duties:
- Promotes public bank image by being involved in meaningful community and business development activities, as appropriate
- Provides junior Relationship Managers with functional guidance and may be asked to take leadership roles on team initiatives and/ or mentoring roles with junior team members.
- Accept special projects in support of the team and community involvement

Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 7 or more years Commercial Banking experience
- 5 or more years managing a portfolio of clients
- 3 or more years financial sales experience
- Demonstrated ability to managed complex client relationships, negotiate contracts, and deliver customized non-credit financial solutions
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and other related technology tools
Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
Salary:
For candidates hired in the state of California or New York the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is currently:
- California - $147,775 - $260,625 Annually
- New York - $160,625 - $260,625 Annually
