Work type: On Campus Location: Normal, Illinois Title: Coordinator, Broadcast & Community Development Job Summary The mission of Campus Recreation is to enhance the quality of life of our unique members by educating and encouraging the active participation in recreational opportunities that develop leadership skills, foster social interaction and reinforce healthy behaviors. This position will be responsible for broadcast & productions efforts, social media & marketing, and community engagement initiatives for the Redbird Esports program. Additional support in student leader development, fiscal responsibility, risk management, and project planning functions summer camps and other community events of the program area. The individual will supervise, evaluate, and train student personnel and volunteers. The position will work with student groups and departments to plan and hold events in all facilities that meet University guidelines and risk mitigation/safety protocols with a strong focus on utilizing the planning process as an educational opportunity. Additional Information University Benefit Highlights: Salary Rate / Pay Rate $50,000 - $54,000 annual Required Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing, business administration, communications, public relations, or a closely related field. Preferred Qualifications 1. Master's degree Work Hours Core hours are 11am to 7pm. Occasional night and weekend availability required.
