The College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences (A&S) seeks applicants for a Transaction Specialist position. The Transaction Specialist works closely with the Divisional Resource Team Directors in the College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences Dean's Office to provide transactional support to the academic business units in the College. They analyze and process various financial transactions in Workday such as manual journal entries, payroll accounting adjustments, transfers, period activity pays, costing allocations, processing payments and purchasing. Transaction Specialist also processes student hirings and tasks related to visa applications in ISSP/Terra Dotta working in collaboration with key personnel in business units and with the International Studies Office The selected applicant will provide timely assistance to the academic business units, provide up-to-date guidance on university financial policies and procedures, compile and track data in relation to area activities. The Transaction Specialist reports directly to the Divisional Resource Team Director for the Sciences. Minimum Qualifications:

Anticipated Hiring Range: $23.00 - $26.50 / hour based on education and experience. This position is located In Charlottesville, VA and is eligible to be a hybrid working arrangement.
