Job Summary

Be part of pSemi's Digital Design team developing digital IP for mixed signal and RF ICs. Gain practical work experience in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Hands-on learning opportunities include (but not limited to) digital design, design automation, verification, production test vector generation, digital characterization, bench validation and documentation.

We are looking for future engineers with a passion for teamwork, technical excellence, and systematic process driven execution.

Roles & Responsibilities

This position has responsibility for:



  • Verilog/SV RTL Design: Create or modify existing designs to meet specifications
  • Design Verification: Plan and implement simulation test for digital IP blocks
  • Test Vector Generation: Convert simulation vectors to test vectors for silicon validation and production test
  • Design validation: Perform lab measurements on existing chips to provide data to guide future developments
  • Script Maintenance and development for design processes and automation
  • Building/modifying test benches, running, and analyzing simulations to cover a test plan



Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)



  • Project work in team environment
  • Familiarity with scripting language such as Python
  • Coursework in digital design (RTL), design debug and digital verification (Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL)
  • Coursework in logic design, including combinational logic, state machines, and digital arithmetic
  • Coursework in circuit design/analysis, including CMOS transistor models
  • Familiarity with serial protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART



Preferred Qualifications



  • Course work in device physics (transistor level)
  • Academic projects with Digital Design simulation, synthesis, and Automated Place and Route
  • Simulation, debug, and verification of gate level simulations
  • Understanding of behavioral modelling of analog in digital simulations
  • DSP/Communications design experience using Matlab



Education Requirements



  • Enrolled in BSEE (junior or above); Enrolled in MSEE or PHD program (preferred)

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

USD 32.20 - 58.32 per hour
