We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with expertise in billing processes, subscription management, and enterprise software solutions to join our growing team within Vivint Technology. This role will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of our billing and subscription products, including ensuring that upstream systems such as sales, customer support, and other applications are setting up billing and charges correctly, and integrating smoothly into our billing processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in the billing domain, particularly with Zuora, and will be responsible for driving collaboration between sales, support, engineering, and product teams to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the entire billing and subscription lifecycle. You will help ensure that every stage, from sales setup to invoicing and subscription management, operates seamlessly, accurately, and at scale. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Product Management & Roadmap: Develop and maintain the product roadmap that prioritizes features and enhancements based on market trends, business goals, and customer needs for billing and subscription systems.
- End-to-End Process Management: Oversee the entire billing and subscription lifecycle, collaborating with business stakeholders and other product teams to ensure that upstream sales, support, and billing systems work together to set up and manage customer charges and subscriptions accurately.
- Product Requirements & User Stories: Work closely with various stakeholders to define and document requirements for billing features and upstream integrations and pricing configurations, translating them into clear user stories that guide technology teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment between billing, sales, support, and product teams, driving effective system integration and data flow.
- Collaboration with Engineering: Work closely with engineering teams to ensure that integrations between billing and upstream systems are efficient, accurate, and scalable.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Track the performance of the billing system and its integrations with upstream configurations and systems, using metrics to identify areas for improvement and driving continuous optimization.
- Customer Experience Improvement: Ensure that the customer journey from sales through to billing is seamless and error-free, working to eliminate any friction points in the process.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Lead product planning and vision refinement for the billing and subscription systems
- Drive alignment with upstream applications (sales, support, CRM) with billing workflows and requirements
- Drive strategic discussions on new product features and functionality requests
- Drive relevant product management deliverables and facilitate effective conversations across disciplines
- Leverage best practices for Product Management in your day-to-day
- Define user stories/experience to ensure the right customer experience
- Collaborate with engineering and business to determine priorities on feature specifics/users stories in alignment with company goals and impact
- Own and manage the product roadmap
- Present convincingly to leadership, stakeholders, and partners
- Monitor the accuracy and efficiency of billing-related processes, ensuring that the entire ecosystem-from sales to invoicing-functions smoothly
Required Skills:
- Billing & Subscription Management: Solid understanding of billing processes, Zuora, and subscription management in B2C or enterprise setting. Experience with understanding upstream systems (sales, support, CRM) and their alignment with billing.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams, ensuring alignment across product, engineering, sales, and support.
- Product Management Skills: Proven experience in product management, specifically with billing systems or other enterprise software. Ability to manage complex product lifecycles and system integrations.
- Communication & Problem-Solving: Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present product concepts, requirements, and strategies to stakeholders at all levels. Ability to identify and resolve challenges in workflows.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of product management experience, ideally in Zuora billing systems or subscription management.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to use data to analyze product performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and prioritize initiatives based on impact.
- Adaptability & Initiative: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and to take ownership of projects, driving them forward from ideation to execution.
- Influential Leadership: Ability to lead by influence, without direct authority.
