We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Data Management and Analytics, Sales Operations to lead and manage INDG's sales data strategy, analytics, and driver-based insights. The Director will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive data governance, to oversee the integration, management, and analysis of revenue-related data, and to support revenue growth through the effective leverage of data and partnership with marketing, finance, and product. The role requires both a strategic and hands-on approach to managing complex data sets, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering actionable insights to effectively direct the Sales & Service Strategy. The Director of Data Management and Analytics will serve as a strategic partner with business leaders throughout the organization in setting the direction of analytical and technical teams. This individual will play a key role in leading cross-functional projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing team of data analysts, data scientists, and data engineers responsible for developing workflow tools, building out standard reporting, and generating analytics to support the build of the Sales Strategy Define and implement the overall data strategy for revenue generation, including forecasting, trend analysis, and identifying key revenue drivers. Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders across sales, marketing, finance, and operations to align business priorities and establish analytics goals. Oversee the collection, organization, and integration of data from multiple sources Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of revenue data across the organization, with a focus on well structured, clean, and reliable datasets. Develop and manage data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting processes to ensure timely access to actionable insights. Lead the development of revenue forecasting models, segmentation strategies, and predictive analytics to drive strategic decisions across the revenue-generating teams. Produce and present regular reports on revenue performance, including key metrics such as customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, churn rates, and sales pipeline health. Provide insights into customer behavior, product performance, and pricing strategies to optimize revenue generation and profitability. Partner with IT and data engineering teams to ensure the appropriate infrastructure is in place to support revenue data needs. Continuously improve data analytics processes and methodologies to enhance the quality, timeliness, and impact of revenue-related insights.
Job Requirements:
Ability to drive a high performing team. Exceptional analytical skills with ability to review and analyze significant amounts of information. Strong presentation skills and ability to present findings to senior leaders. Excellent project management and communication skills. Strong technical expertise regarding data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques. Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, etc.). Strong comfort level gathering requirements, conducting interviews and facilitating brainstorming or collaboration sessions with customer representatives, as needed. Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings. Skilled in managing multiple projects and ensuring a high-level of responsiveness. Ability to motivate a team and lead matrixed groups. Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages. Experience with data warehousing and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud). Familiarity with business intelligence tools and analytics platforms.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree with courses in business, mathematics, statistics or appropriate combination of education and experience required. Minimum 8+ years of experience working with and analyzing large datasets from multiple disparate sources and presenting findings to high-level audiences. Strong expertise in data modeling, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and advanced analytics techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, forecasting). Significant experience analyzing complex reports and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Previous experience managing a high performing team is required. In-depth knowledge of CRM systems and data integration from multiple platforms.
