Job Description:



  • Under supervision perform daily operational checks of ESP, sucker rod lift wells, and production / salt-water disposal (SWD) facilities.

    • Perform maintenance and minor equipment repair as needed.
    • Gauge tanks, report liquid and gas volumes, well pressures, chemical usage, etc.
    • Compile and input production data into P2 Merrick production reporting software.
    • Responsible for well testing schedules and reporting production variances to supervisor.

  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and operate lease equipment (separators, heater treaters, surface pumps, flares, etc.).
  • Responsible for inspecting batteries and well sites for environmental / safety checks and general housekeeping.


Required Skills:



  • Must be punctual, reliable, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and perform well in a team environment.
  • Good mechanical skills with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostics of lease production equipment.
  • Basic computer skills with emphasis on utilizing P2 Merrick production reporting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have a valid driver's license in the state of North Dakota and a clean driving record.


Physical Requirements:



  • Must be physically able to climb stairs, operate valves and pumps, and perform maintenance work.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
  • Capable of working in outdoor conditions and possess the physical ability to work extended hours (if needed), work in confined spaces, exposure to extreme weather conditions, and drive a company vehicle.


Required Experience:



  • Minimum 2 plus years of industry experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
