Senior Director, Kepware Product Strategy

USA-Portland, Maine

We are seeking a Senior Director of Product Strategy to drive the growth strategy for our industry-leading Kepware product line. You and your team are responsible for product vision, strategy, delivery, and performance across our entire portfolio of consumer-facing products. You will need a deep understanding of customer and business needs to collaborate on GTM strategies, shape revenue targets, and lead growth initiatives.

This role requires a unique blend of business and technical savvy; big-picture vision, and the drive to make the organizational vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand problems and find innovative solutions in support of organizational goals. You will have extensive interactions with customers, partners, field sellers, and sales engineers to understand requirements and needs.

As an inclusive leader who encourages divergent views, you will manage, mentor, and guide our experienced staff of product managers. By leveraging industry best practices and frameworks, you will foster a culture of innovation to support our culture and people.

Day to Day:

  • Drive a cohesive product strategy that capitalizes on new market opportunities while continuing to exceed the expectations of our global customers and partners.

  • Oversee the performance of our offerings in the market and execution against the business plan.

  • Share a deep understanding of our market, competitive trends, and opportunities from your interactions with customers, partners, analysts, and attending industry events.

  • Lead the PM team responsible for defining, prioritizing, and executing on the Kepware product roadmap and product release plans.

  • Collaborate with PM and R&D on product strategy, prioritization, and investment decisions.

  • Work with Product Marketing to support the creation of assets to influence customers, buyers, industry specialists, and research analysts.

  • Engage with Sales and our Go-To-Market (GTM) organization to define initiatives to bring our products to market and support our partner relationships.

  • Work with Customer Success Management to support the prioritization, creation, and delivery of portfolio offerings for Kepware.

Preferred Skills and knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle and matrixed execution

  • Strong strategic, analytical, communication, and management skills

  • Proven ability to inspire and influence others, including executive management

  • Ability to champion and nurture an inclusive, tight-knit culture

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 15 years of professional experience in a related field including 5 years of management experience.

  • Manufacturing or industrial automation experience

  • Product management experience, 5+ years
