General Information:

The Forbes Center for the Performing Arts seeks a full-time Box Office Manager. This position oversees all ticket operations for five performance venues and Wilson Hall. Primary responsibilities include staff hiring and training, event configuration, ticket sales, accounting, patron database management and group sales outreach.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Manage day-to-day subscriber and single ticket sales and fulfillment
* Build all performance seating charts, price grids, discount codes into the Choice Ticketing system
* Prepare comprehensive daily and weekly sales reports
* Hire, train, schedule, and oversee nine student customer service agents and three student Box Office Managers
* Oversees all credit card, check, and cash deposits and reporting
* Maintains and updates records in Patron database
* Solicits and processes new group sales contracts
* Works with and trains Theatre Management Associate on ticket system and Box Office staff supervision
* Identify and troubleshoot customer service issues

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:
* Box Office and Staff management experience
* Online ticket system experience
* Knowledge of basic accounting skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to work a varied schedule that includes nights and weekends
