This role is about providing a great customer experience. A project manager is the point of contact for the customer and responsible for working with many of the teams within Endress+Hauser to deliver a complex scope of work. Delivering on our commitments the right way with our customers and meeting our budget for each project is the main goal of the project manager. Which tasks will you perform?
- Manage budgets and schedule based on a defined scope of work with guidance from a manager
- Facilitate project kick-off and close-out meetings under general supervision
- Handle modifications to the project scope with oversight
- Provide tailored project status reports. (internal and external)
- Oversee drawing submittals, third-party PO releases, material receipt, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), SAT (Site Acceptance Test), fabricator & contractor installation management, and expediting with managerial support
- Manage special shipping and invoicing documentation
- Ensure customer-specific documentation requirements are met
- Provide technical knowledge and assistance for customer project inquiries
What do we expect from you? You will have (required):
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or project management or 3+ years experience in project management
- Basic understanding of Project Management software/tools.
- 3+ years of related experience
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions of managers, reps, and customers
- Travel required: Up to 20%
You may have (preferred):
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of related experience
- Customer service skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents, P&IDs, and bid specifications
- Self-Management: Ability to work and make informed decisions independently and on own initiative
- Focus: Prioritize and act in the best interests of the company by advancing organizational goals, focusing on solution-oriented issues, and making clear, decisive choices
- Networking: Build and maintain strong, trustworthy business relationships, leveraging long-term partnerships to achieve collective success
- Customer Focus: Prioritizes the customer perspective in business decisions by actively seeking to understand customer needs and problems, initiating solutions based on this understanding, and implementing feedback to enhance the overall experience and prevent future issues
