Central Power Systems & Services (CPS&S)

POSITION/TITLE: General Manager

REPORT TO: Lead General Manager

WORK HOURS: Minimum of forty (40) hours per week, and additionally as needed to meet the goals of CPS&S.

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Central Power Systems and Services is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven General Manager to lead and grow customer support initiatives in the sale, rental, and service of manufactured natural gas generator sets. This role will focus primarily on operations in the Midland area and involve close collaboration with the Manufacturing Division in Kansas City, Missouri, and the Remanufacturing Division in Wichita, Kansas.

The Midland location also operates as a dealership for Develon construction equipment, providing an opportunity for the General Manager to drive business growth across multiple product lines. Working together with Senior Leadership, the General Manager will be responsible for setting strategic goals, driving progress, expanding market share, and fostering lasting partnerships.

Qualifications

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS



  1. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of leadership experience, preferably in sales, service, or branch management within the power generation or heavy equipment industry.
  2. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with natural gas generator systems, PSI engines, and construction equipment (e.g., Develon) is highly desirable.
  3. Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams, drive performance, and foster a strong family-oriented culture.
  4. Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated skills in planning, process improvement, and business growth.
  5. Customer Focus: Commitment to building long-lasting partnerships by providing first class customer support.
