Overview E2 is hiring an a Coating Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector who will be an essential member of an inspection team tasked with the responsibility of examining pipes, fittings, valves, and associated components and assemblies within the pipeline and piping industry. This role entails working in both manufacturing and field environments on a full-time basis. The Inspector will be responsible for performing thorough inspections and validating tests, in addition to documenting these findings on a daily basis. Inspections may be conducted on piping components prior to, during, or subsequent to coating operations. Coating inspectors play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of coated materials and products. They must possess a deep and comprehensive understanding of various relevant specifications, including those established by industry standards such as API, AMPP, and ASTM. In addition, familiarity with client-specific requirements and detailed Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) is essential for effective evaluations. Furthermore, these inspectors should demonstrate expertise in applying these specifications meticulously to the materials and products undergoing inspection, enabling them to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. Wage Data Per State Requirements Hourly rate for this position is $54.00 - $66.00. The starting rate will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
