This position will manage the operational planning and oversight of travel, purchasing, and contracts. This position will assist the director with budget, and oversight of the college auxiliary services. The role requires a physical presence on campus at least four days per week, with the possibility of some remote work. Please read the "How to Apply" section to avoid incomplete application materials. Essential Functions 30% - Oversees purchasing, travel, and contract management functions and related record-keeping. Prepares, monitors, and implements assigned budget and related expenditures, transfers, and/or adjustments. Prepares and maintains financial reports. Identifies resource needs and makes recommendations. Provides fiscal policy and regulatory review, interpretation, and advice. 20% - Plans, organizes, assigns, supervises, reviews, and evaluates the work and day-to-day activities of staff. Identifies training needs and opportunities. Provides staff training and coaching. 20% - Plans, coordinates, implements, and conducts training and/or formal workshops related to projects and systems. Monitors, evaluates, and streamlines internal controls, fiscal integrity, and business processes. Provides technical and complex direction, advice and issue resolution of escalated issues and customer concerns. 20% - Assists fiscal director with oversight of the college auxiliary services. 10% - Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in finance, accounting, or directly related field, five (5) years of professional-level experience in the operational planning, administration, and oversight of assigned fiscal services business unit related to the area of assignment, which includes two (2) years of supervisory experience. OR Associate Degree from a regionally accredited institution in finance, accounting, or directly related field, seven (7) years of professional-level experience in the operational planning, administration, and oversight of assigned fiscal services business unit related to the area of assignment, which includes two (2) years of supervisory experience. OR High School Diploma/GED and nine (9) years of professional-level experience in operational planning, administration and oversight of assigned fiscal services business unit related to the area of assignment, which includes two (2) years of supervisory experience. Desired Qualifications A. Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related professional field. B. Four (4) years of experience with web based financial reporting systems in higher education or government organization to include extracting data into Excel C. Four (4) years of experience monitoring and reporting budget activities in higher education or government organization. D. Four (4) years of experience managing purchasing, travel, contracts, and grant operations in higher education or government organization. E. Four (4) years of experience in supervising full-time staff. Special Working Conditions
