SSP America is seeking a Director of Payroll Administration to lead our payroll operations and HR helpdesk teams, ensuring seamless payroll processing, compliance, and world-class employee support.

What You'll Do:



  • Lead & Optimize payroll administration and HR helpdesk operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Oversee Payroll Processing & Compliance - Manage complex payroll structures, union wage administration, and large-scale data reporting.
  • Ensure Compliance - Maintain deep knowledge of employment and labor laws (experience with union payroll is a plus but not required).
  • Drive Process Improvement - Leverage data analytics to enhance payroll accuracy and compliance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with HR, Finance, and Benefits teams to optimize payroll operations.
  • Support Multi-National Operations - Manage payroll compliance for both US and Canadian teams in a fast-paced, global environment.



Who We're Looking For:



  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in payroll administration, HR helpdesk management, and large-scale data processing.
  • High attention to detail with a strong background in compliance, employment laws, and wage administration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred (HR degrees with strong payroll expertise will also be considered).
  • Global or Multi-National Experience Preferred - Experience working in a large enterprise or global payroll environment.
  • Tech-Savvy - Proficiency in HRIS, payroll analytics, and large-scale ticketing systems.
  • Exceptional leadership and project management skills to drive innovation and efficiency.
