We're looking for an IT SOX Compliance Manager to join Procore's Product & Technology Team. In this IT SOX Compliance Manager role, you'll be responsible for managing the SOX IT audit from the Management side. In this role, you will work directly with key business stakeholders and Internal and External Audit teams to drive SOX compliance.

What you'll do:

  • Manage and direct the work streams related to IT SOX compliance including IT General Controls (ITGC), IT Application Controls (ITAC) and Key Reports

  • Guide the IT SOX planning and scoping

  • Provide technical support in the assessment, design and implementation of ITGCs and ITACs

  • Facilitate the remediation of ITGC and ITAC control failures/gaps including aligning with the business on the root cause of issues and appropriate corrective actions while maintaining positive relationships and independence

  • Work with management and users to interpret the significance of audit findings, conclude on findings, make practical recommendations, and verify that remediation plans are implemented

  • Participate in systems upgrades and enhancements, as necessary, to review that internal controls over financial reporting are adequately identified and addressed

  • Further the on-going elevation and optimization of the Company's SOX Program through supporting innovative initiatives such as RPA, data analytics, continuous monitoring and benchmarking

  • Assist with other regulatory/statutory/operational audits as needed

What we're looking for:

  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.

  • Extensive knowledge of IT SOX requirements, COSO framework, and internal control best practices

  • Excellent written & verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Influencing skills including the ability to explain complex topics in simple terms and inspire transformational improvement in internal controls

  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable working cross-functionally and providing technical guidance to the audit teams and key stakeholders

  • Project and stakeholder management for internal control design, implementation, and remediation

  • Learning, navigating, and training users on GRC platform for evidence gathering

  • Reporting status to leadership timely including executive level summarization to communicate key successes and challenges and escalating when appropriate

  • Analyzing large data sets and familiarity with related data analysis tools

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or large company IT audit, IT risk consulting and/or leading SOX program support/execution; ideal candidate will likely have 6 - 8+ years of experience

Base Pay Range $137,040 - $188,430. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role.
