The incumbent is responsible for sustaining an environment of intrinsic goodwill for the practice while providing optimum services to patients. The incumbent provides non-licensed medical and clerical support to medical care providers as a hospital assistant for the department/clinical team. This position also performs specialized procedures and/or identifiable front office duties requiring special training, skill level and responsibility as determined by operational need.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
- No Minimum Education required
- Three (3) years of recent experience in clinic or procedural area as a Medical or Hospital Assistant.
- Three (3) years of recent experience in all aspects of rooming patients, not limited to obtaining vital signs and assist with wound care.
- Experience in a hospital setting providing non-licensed clinical support to nursing, medical care providers and Advanced Practice Practitioners
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Ability to utilize medical terminology appropriately.

- Must have knowledge and ability to apply sterile technique.

Department Overview
The UC Davis Medical Center Radiology Department consists of facilities at the Main Hospital and Ambulatory Care Center. These areas include Diagnostic Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Neuro-Interventional Radiology, Ultrasound, Computerized Tomography (CT), Nuclear Medicine, Positive Emission Tomography (PET) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR). The Departments have Interventional Suites, CT scanners, Ultrasound procedure rooms, Nuclear Medicine cameras, PET Imaging units, MR scanners and Diagnostic radiology rooms.
