Compensation: $25 - $40 per hour

Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday with a rotating on-call weekend schedule

As a Service Technician, you will perform service and maintenance of HVAC comfort systems for both residential and commercial customers. You will ensure the proper seasonal operation of HVAC systems, assist installation crews when needed, and uphold the company's safety and service standards.

Responsibilities:



  • Perform service and seasonal maintenance for residential and commercial HVAC systems
  • Use an 'up-front' pricing model for service calls and repairs
  • Assist installation crews to meet project deadlines and budgets
  • Ensure proper maintenance and operation of all HVAC tools, equipment, and safety gear
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain an organized work environment
  • Participate in on-call rotation and work overtime when required
  • Communicate effectively with customers about their HVAC systems and service needs
  • Maintain clear communication with the office staff regarding job updates, parts orders, and repairs
  • Ensure proper record-keeping for parts and service requests



Requirements:



  • Lift up to 100 pounds and navigate stairs/tight spaces
  • Work at heights up to 30 feet (ladders, rooftops, attics)
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures and confined spaces
  • Stand, reach, bend, and climb throughout the day
  • 5+ years of HVAC service experience
  • EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiar with HVAC systems (furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, air handlers, mini splits); experience with boilers, water heaters, and oil furnaces a plus
