Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to join our team. As a Data Analyst Intern, you will assist the data analytics and engineering team in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to provide valuable insights and support data-driven decision-making. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to explore emerging technologies, including AI, Machine Learning (ML), and Large Language Models (LLMs), to uncover new ways of enhancing analytics capabilities and automating insights. - Collaborate with the data analytics teams to identify and understand data requirements for various projects and initiatives.
- Assist in the collection, cleansing, and transformation of data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations.
- Create and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel to visualize data and communicate insights effectively.
- Conduct ad-hoc data analyses and support the team in answering business-related questions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data quality control measures.
- Support the team in identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation in data analysis workflows.
- Explore and experiment with AI/ML techniques and LLMs to enhance data analysis, automate reporting processes, and uncover predictive insights.
- Research and prototype potential applications of AI-driven solutions to support business initiatives and data innovation.
- Work with business partners to deliver reporting and AI solutions.
Skills & Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency with Excel for data analysis and report writing.
- Solid understanding of data manipulation techniques and experience working with large datasets.
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, or other programming languages commonly used in data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices and the ability to create compelling visualizations.
- Interest in or exposure to emerging technologies, including AI, Machine Learning, or Large Language Models (LLMs), is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and contribute to the team.
