We're looking to hire a talented Sr Pricing Specialist based in Denton, TX.

Reporting to the Pricing Manager, the Sr Pricing Specialist will serve as a member of ESAB's North America pricing team, which maintains product pricing and supports strategies & policies across the channels to markets. This role includes daily interaction with internal and external customers to ensure their satisfaction, and applies a direct focus on integrity, accuracy and quality of all data. This role reports into the North America Pricing leader.

Primary Duties

  • Maintain, support pricing for the North America business across multiple B2B distributor channels & end user segments.
  • Supports NAM Pricing leader in key initiatives and is lead coordinator to manage the day-to-day Ops tasks to ensure deliverance to team KPIs with the pricing team members. Develops teams standard work with input from pricing leader.
  • Works with product management, sales and finance on pricing initiatives for products to support business objectives (promotions, one time, contract pricing, end user credits, etc).
  • Supports day-to-day business activities for internal and external customers result in improved customer response time and customer experience per team KPIs. First point of contact for sales and customers in pricing related issues, driving resolution and ease of doing business. Supports existing account relationships with sales by providing accurate price files, timely responses, and resolution.
  • Collaborates closely with the sales and product management team on Special Price Requests. Manage workflow to expedite pricing support activities and resolution.
  • Support the functionality of pricing systems, including gathering, storing, and analyzing master data and transactional data from multiple platforms and sources to gain insights and trends
  • Pricing and Data Analytics, use databases, spreadsheets, pricing toolset, reporting tools to support pricing actions, relevant reporting needs, master data integrity, margin management with input from product management and finance teams
  • Support the implementation of time sensitive pricing actions, custom price files and communications. Adhere to strict timelines and work cross-functionally to ensure successful and accurate communication.
  • Cooperatively develop and enhance existing pricing processes, simplification in pricing structure driving continuous improvement working with product management, IT, sales, and pricing leader
  • Leads or participate in special projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business related function or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5-7 years in Pricing, Finance, Purchasing, Product Line Management, business-related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in understanding SAP SD architecture and Order to Cash processes
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to extrapolate data, interpret, report, and create course of action from diverse data sources
  • Proven ability to work flexibly and engage cross functionally and autonomously
  • Result driven, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize work, and meet strict deadlines
  • Solid experience to lead/coordinate across functional groups/teams
  • Strong communication skills, decision-making abilities and business acumen with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
  • Transactional pricing toolkit and value toolkit experience
  • Ability to deliver on complex situations or problems and convey information with clarity, and simplicity
  • Strong attention to detail, data-focused approach, ability to anticipate issues and problem solve
  • Experienced in working with large disparate data sets and the tools used to mine and analyze for reporting analysis and presentation
  • Advanced Excel and MS Office Suite Skills

Working Conditions

  • Remains in a stationary position 50% of the time and involves additional physical demands such as ascending/descending stairs, walking stooping and standing.
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment 'PPE' when working/visiting manufacturing and plant locations.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery including but not limited to printer, tablets, cell phones.
  • Moves transports, puts, or removes equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.; pushes, pulls products weighing up to 200 lbs. using provided safety tools.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • May be exposed to varying weather during travel.
