This is a benefited, full-time position (80 hours per pay period) with an 8-hour day shift schedule located at our Scripps Offices in Mira Mesa. This position will rotate on-call shifts with other PACS Administrators. The PACS Administrator will serve as a member of the Radiology Informatics Team, which is responsible for implementation, management, and day-to-day operations of the Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS), Radiology Information System (RIS), Radiology Ancillary imaging applications, digital and voice recognition dictation systems.

As a PACS Administrator, you will:



  • Oversee operations of image workflow relating to HIS and PACS.
  • Provide training and technical assistance to end users of PACS-Medical Staff, Nursing Staff, Technologist and Radiologist in conjunction with site-specific technical PACSs support staff.
  • Perform software product evaluations, analysis and design for interdepartmental systems projects.
  • Investigate, identify and prepare recommendations to solve operational issues related to information management.

Qualifications

Required:



  • Excellent critical and analytical thinking and customer service skills.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced troubleshooting, organizational and project management skills
  • Working knowledge or HIS/RIS functionality; knowledge of Radiology Department Operations.


Preferred:



  • CIIP or PARCA certification preferred

Minimum Rate (USD) : 47.43 - Maximum Rate (USD) : 68.89
