As the Business Development Manager, Mixing, you'll be the driving force behind regional sales growth and market expansion. This role demands a strategic thinker who can identify and develop new end-market opportunities for Milton Roy. We're seeking a technically savvy salesperson with deep expertise in mixing technologies and applications across multiple industries-someone who thrives on competing on value, shaping purchasing decisions, and influencing specifications and AVL acceptance. If you have experience in mixing, the business acumen and technical prowess to make an impact, this is your opportunity to lead and drive success.

Responsibilities
:


  • Lead business development activities to grow annual Mixer sales within the region.

  • Engage end users and channel partners to develop the opportunity pipeline and to convert into revenues.

  • Develop strategic account relationships.

  • Be the 'go to' primary, in-region, technical support to regional sales and distribution teams.

  • Ensure quotations are application optimized and provided in short turnaround times.

  • Conduct sales calls and provide technical product training, as required, with all Reps, Distributors and customers in the assigned region.

  • Develop growth strategies by clearly defining expectations (goals, resourcing and market penetration plans).

  • Recommend and validate product development priorities, contributing to business cases.

  • Analyze competitive environment and jobs/opportunities lost to develop a winning game plan.

  • Create applications training with a 'jobs to be done' view to optimize value propositions.

  • Develop playbook to enter new/underserved markets.

  • Own execution and commercial strategy of large project sales.

  • Make recommendations relating to potential changes in representation and market segmentation as might be required to meet all financial regional objectives.

  • Participate in key trade show events / conferences.




Requirements
:


  • 7+ years' experience in selling Mixers to end users and channel partners within the Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, Chemical, Power, Industrial, Municipal or other similar markets.

  • Bachelor's Degree; preferably in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or compelling equivalent work experience. Business Degree would be advantageous.

  • Bringing a demonstrated background with Side Entry Mixing technology will be an asset to your success.

  • Ability to travel up to 65%.

  • Ability to prioritize and work the necessary hours to effectively execute the job responsibilities.

  • Proficiency in computer related skills; Microsoft Office applications, CRM systems.

  • Responsible for accurate, ethical and timely handling of expenses.

  • US Remote Office (Houston preference)
