Position Overview:

The strategic quality manager will lead the strategic quality team, and support strategic initiatives including new product development projects and line expansions. This position will also work with project managers within new product development and commercialization teams, and suppliers, through the commercialization process. The position will ultimately oversee a team based in both Cottage Grove and Locust Grove.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Driving accountability for the quality function's tasks within the new product development and commercialization projects.
  • Driving the quality team to advance quality systems, built-in quality, and error proofing solutions.
  • Leading various IoT initiatives such as: developing new solutions and systems using Node Red/Raspberry Pi solutions and vision systems.
  • Partner with IT on data collection and analytics projects such as new ERP systems.
  • Lead the support, design, and maintenance of current and future business intelligence applications used by the various data streams (i.e., Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI dashboards).
  • Partner with the Enterprise Quality Teams on various initiatives including the following:
    • Improvements in document control and software systems (i.e. Aras, Portal, Go Canvas, Prolink).
    • Strategic initiatives and best practice sharing, which may require travel to other facilities.

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Engineering or Technology
  • 8-10 years experience in a manufacturing, continuous process environment required
  • 3-4 years experience managing a team
  • Experience leading IoT initiatives and solutions
  • Formal project management training as well as real world application of principles around PMP
  • Knowledge of APQP tools, PFMEA, quality programs, SPC, process capability and lean manufacturing principles.

Work Requirements:

  • Must be willing to travel up to 25% when required.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn 108,941 - 168,859.

PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
