The National Training Manager for the Eye Care Educator Team is primarily responsible for the successful delivery, execution, and management of all the Client's training-related needs. The Training Manager is expected to comprehend and communicate the disease state, marketplace, and product-specific materials and must possess effective facilitation and communication skills.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Will be the regional primary point of contact for the design and creation of training agenda, learning sessions and management of virtual classroom environments.
  • Drive the engagement for workshops to ensure engagement utilizing high quality learning activities that adhere to adult learning principles
  • Providing on-going coaching during training classes while evaluating the competency levels of participants, and ongoing training analyses in alignment to the training plan objectives
  • Complete field rides when needed providing effective coaching and mentoring opportunities
  • Supports field ECE and ECE leadership by leading efforts around disease state/product/skill development for national meetings, POA meetings, manager meetings, and other training initiatives

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Clinical degree preferred
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience
  • Training experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, training design concepts, and platforms
  • Exceptional ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at different levels of the organization
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent learning, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to self-motivate and perform effectively with minimal supervision
  • Expertise with technology platforms (iPad) and programs (e.g., CRM, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel) is required

Desired Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Oncology or Ophthalmology disease areas preferred
