Job Summary

The Senior Director, Product Portfolio Management, reporting to the V.P. of Marketing and Sales, will oversee and drive the management of our RF External product portfolio, pricing strategy and new product initiative approval process. This role requires deep knowledge of the semiconductor industry, an ability to work across multiple departments including executive, marketing, sales, program management and operations and have a business-driven mindset to ensure profitability of our product lines and alignment with the company's strategic goals.

Roles & Responsibilities

This position has responsibility for:

* Define and manage the RF External corporate product portfolio and manage the associated Product Marketing Managers.

* Responsible for the successful definition of the product line consisting of hitting individual PPM ROI goals, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.

* Serve as the product portfolio owner, providing regular updates on portfolio growth, ROI, and market success with executives and stakeholders.

* Drive RF External Product Roadmaps and align with technical, packaging and operational roadmaps.

* Under direction of the V.P. of Marketing and Sales, manage pricing strategy across the product portfolio, channel partners, competitive landscape and markets jointly with Product Marketing, Distribution Manager, and Sales to ensure a consistent and educated approach to pricing and discounts.

* Under direction of the V.P. of Marketing and Sales, manage our new product initiative process, prioritizing new product development kickoffs and with Program Management the associated resources.

* Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders across multiple projects and departments.

* Identify and manage risks across the portfolio, ensuring the overall success and balance of products that may include innovation, maintenance, and growth initiatives.

* Make strategic decisions with executive management about which products to pursue, defer, or cancel based on their impact on the portfolio's goals.

* Monitor and report portfolio performance, considering financial metrics, ROI, and strategic alignment as part of business reviews. Work with Product Marketing Managers to correct product lines not meeting expected KPI's.

* Drives resource allocation (budget, teams, time) across various products within the portfolio to optimize returns.

* Establish and manage centralized COGS policy across the portfolio and channels. Coordinates with cost accounting, operations, and engineering to estimate the most accurate cost of products for use in assessing ROI.

* Access market trends, customer needs, and competitor offers to make portfolio decisions.

Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)

* 10 years of experience in leadership roles in product management, portfolio management, or a similar role in the semiconductor industry.

* Strong technical background with knowledge of semiconductor products, trends, and technologies.

* Proven track record of managing product portfolios, driving product innovation, and leading cross-functional teams.

* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

* Experience with P&L management and financial analysis.

* Strategic thinking and decision-making.

* Strong leadership and project management skills.

* Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

* Customer-focused with the ability to translate market needs into product strategies.

* Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Education Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (Master's or MBA preferred).

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

USD 219,547.95 - 301,878.43 per year
