Job Description Admissions Counselor, Full-time position This position is responsible for assisting with the patient intake process. The counselor is responsible for taking patient intake-calls, providing information to individuals, agencies, facilities, and professional staff (physicians, consulting professionals) requesting information regarding potential admissions, developing and/or maintaining relationships with ongoing sources of referral to alternate treatment sources when appropriate. Qualifications Job Requirements Education: Master's degree from an accredited university in a human service area or RN Experience: Minimum two-years of Clinical experience in psychiatric setting preferred License/Certification: Current license from the State of Florida preferred: such as LCSW, LMFT, LMHC; or Registered Nurse (RN) Skills: Above average communication skills, high level of initiative, motivation, independent judgement and organizational skills. Ability to relate to those emotionally disturbed and in crisis. Physical Requirements: Medium demand, mentally. Requires extensive sitting, writing, and talking on telephone. Ability to assist in crisis intervention, physical intervention with out-of-control patients. Other: Performs other duties as may be assigned by CEO. This opportunity offers the following:
