Primary Function: Specializes in either facilities and/ or mechanic maintenance. Facilities: Performs basic general facilities maintenance under some supervision. Mechanic: Inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies plant mechanical equipment. Responsibilities: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of equipment and systems. Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with HVAC, lighting, and other building systems. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs (e.g., fire risers, air compressors). Respond promptly to maintenance requests, safety concerns, and emergencies (e.g., work orders). Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies (LOTO). Install appliances, equipment, fixtures, and shelving. Perform minor troubleshooting and repairing of mechanical equipment and systems, which may require isolating the malfunction, disassembly, and repair. Serve as the site contact for relevant contractors such as roofers, electricians, and inspectors. Basic/Required Qualifications: 5-7 years of maintenance experience with electrical and plumbing Excellent mechanical aptitude and knowledge of practices, tools, and equipment used to maintain plant facilities. Trade school education or equivalent experience Ability to lift and move heavy objects (25 pounds). This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. Person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: Training in general carpentry, plumbing, and electrical." |
