From your PASSION to ours

The Production Intern will support the Nampa Production Project leads by assisting in the development of the plant production projects, project execution, equipment start-up, and commissioning. In this position, you will be partnered with experienced production professionals. We will provide you with training and development to grow your career in Production in the Food and Beverage industry. You will learn the processes and procedures necessary to complete string cheese production projects successfully from the ground up. Our regular weekly meetings and feedback sessions allow you to learn and develop as you grow.

Requirements

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Drive results through effective communication and relationship building.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure multiple deadlines are met amongst competing deadlines.
  • Maintain professionalism, composure, and resiliency during difficult situations.
  • Take accurate measurements of equipment, location, footprint, and food equipment system processes.
  • Create a statement of work document from information provided by Project Engineers.
  • Create/update CAD equipment layouts, piping, and instrumentation diagrams.
  • Assist with RFI's between contractors and project engineers, daily/weekly checkups, and reporting of contractors on-site performing work.
  • Assist with Maintenance CAPEX work by ensuring orders are made timely, shipments are tracked, inventoried, or expedited as needed.
  • Assist with completion of punch list items and provide support to on-site contractors performing project work.
  • Maintain OSHA/GMP/Safety compliance with all contractors on site.

From your STORY to ours

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

Education

  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
  • Must be currently enrolled in a 4-year or post-graduate program.

Experience

  • Prior CAD 2D/3D manufacturing equipment and facility layouts.
  • Prior food/beverage manufacturing experience preferred.

Specialized Knowledge

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Equipment and plant layouts, CAD, P&ID's, electrical schematics.

Skills / Abilities

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret P&ID's, building, and foot plant drawings.
  • Ability to deliver and produce quality work within tight timeframes while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work with suppliers, trade partners, customers, and internal team members to discuss and document requirements/changes, address concerns, and provide timely project status.
  • Ability to creatively solve problems and work under time constraints.
